I guess I subconsciously dread missed opportunities.<br>Similarly, I've had dreams where things are going great, but suddenly things take a turn, and I know in my dream that I'm dreaming, but I try to steer the dream back to how it previously was. This happens a lot. For example- I'll be in a heroic fight (which happens quite frequently for some reason) and I'll make an attempt to land a solid punch on the person I'm fighting, but my punches land like snowflakes no matter how hard I swing. Or I'll completely miss every time, and I'll think to myself in the dream "why is this happening?! I'm dreaming! I should be able to do whatever I want! I should be knocking this guy out right now!"</p>
